As for me, I was going to go to see it with Odie tonight be she had to attend something else that she couldn't get out of... so, hopefully we'll make it tomorrow.
Everyone take care!

Here it is the opening night of one of Russell's movies and no one has posted about it! What are you guys doing? OH, I know, you're all still in the
theaters watching it for the forth time since you got off work today. LOL

My excuse I am sorry to say has been the same old thing for the last year or so. I am too sick and have not been out of bed.
But for everyone else who may get the chance to go see Body of Lies, here is the website. It looks like an amazing film, although I remain unconvinced it was absolutely necessary to Russell's character for him to be fat again. I think his character could have been just as convincing if he'd been one of those CIA guys who is also always training on the treadmill, and was slim and fit. http://bodyoflies.warnerbros.com/index.html I hope the link works. I never quite know if I am doing it correctly. Tell us what you thought about the movie, Satex? Magic |

Saw the movie tonight with Odie! I thought it was great! Russell's not in it all that much but the parts he's in are very good. I think he was a lot
like John Nash - accent, mannerisms, etc. I won't spoil the story for you but it has some interesting twists and turns, some graphic 'stuff' but
overall a good movie. I don't know why it's not getting good reviews unless it's another case of critics going against Russell and Ridley.
It's late and I need to get going. Hope you can all get out to see it - tomorrow if possible so it can get the opening weekend numbers up! |

to hear that you got a chance to go see it and that you liked the film! I have been reading up on the reviews and what can you say?
I have never liked the critics. Without fail they diss the movies I love and praise the ones I thought were absolute stinkers. It sure is alot easier to criticize the efforts of others than it is to get out there and produce something, now isn't it. My hat's off to those who are out there in the arena trying to hit one out of the ball park and poo on the critics. Besides, I have read some rave reviews saying it's one of the best films of the year. So. There. lol! Magic |

P.S. I don't know what happened to the photo of the movie poster for the film. Vanished. Some kind of weird internet thing I guess.

I saw Body of Lies this past week and I'm sorry to say this, but I didn't think it was one of RC and Ridley's best
efforts. I always like to see Russell up on the big screen, but in this film (and I really hate to say this), I was actually bored in some of the
passages. I kept waiting for something really good, as far as writing, dialogue, etc., to happen. Granted, Russell did his part. He's always good. But
this film lacked something special. I can't quite put my finger on it. I may go back to see it again, just to see if I'm wrong in my judgement. Oh,
and the theater didn't even have it up on its one "big" screen; it was on one of the other 16 smaller screens.

I saw a few days ago that Body of Lies is still playing. I've been sick with this strange high fever and haven't been able to go back yet.
